69 + 70/365

So, I have no idea what’s been going on with my blog!

It seems that somehow day 67 stayed in draft form and got published today, after day 68, and then I’m having to combine 69 and 70 because I didn’t post 69 in time either!

Technology is not my strongest suit! I will hopefully get back on track with this soon and we’ll be back to our once a day regularity.

Aeryn is loving the intermittent warmer weather and being able to go out without a coat sometimes. She still prefers her wellies to all other shoes, though, regardless of how wet it is, or isn’t as the case may be!

Here’s her yesterday having a snack in our front…well, garden is a bit of a strong word for it, considering how it looks right now! Yard, i suppose!

Ben was home today, so Aeryn had a great time! Here they are sharing strudel for pudding. By sharing, I mean Aeryn climbed up onto Ben’s lap and started helping herself.

Ben is pretty hysterical by this photo. That’s mostly because he’s under the weather and she’s been extremely intense ALL DAY LONG.

She’ll break into random banshee screaming for no reason, be bossy and demanding and angry and sad and intensely happy and wild one after the other, and then go through odd periods of beautiful independent play and imagination and kindness, as if none of it ever happened. It’s extremely exhausting trying to keep up with the mood swings of a two year old. I’d liken it to something poetically metaphorical, but I am simply too exhausted today; she’s taken every ounce of my energy like a lightning rod and I’m being sucked into the Earth and dissipated.

Oh, and the baby is booting me so hard in the ribs, I feel like he’s going to pop out of me, Alien-style. I’m pretty sure he shouldn’t be this strong yet! Starting to really wonder if they got my dates wrong and I’m further ahead than we think!!

She blogs about issues and ideas surrounding education, parenting, feminism, craft and various other interesting tidbits. What a wonderful word, tidbits.
